Thanks to Fred Wilhelms on Footstompin for pointing this out: Sound Exchange intends to refuse payment for royalties unclaimed by Dec 15. The list of artists involved is quite extraordinary:

I mean, dear god, they can't find Astrud Gilberto, Gary Numan or the estates of J.B. Lenoir, Jeff Buckley, Jelly Roll Morton or Charles Mingus???

I thought the licencee was supposed to chase the licencor (rights owner)? What about those money grabbing charlies that claim they are "Agents"?...

I notice the Mormon tabernacle Choir is on the list also. Doubt they've changed addresses in a long time.

In Australia-New Zealand, "APRA" has a big list of unclaimed royalties too - worth checking out if you're a songwriter etc ...
