Rick was a singer songwriter well known around the Southampton area in the early 70's, Most notably as a resident of The Cutty Wren Folk Club, in Hythe. Later Rick moved to East Anglia where he became equally well known.
Rick moved on into the "Other Bar" some years ago now, but he is far from forgotten. Forest Tracks is working on a release of many of Ricks songs and has compiled many recordings. We are sadly lacking photos of Rick though....
Please PM me if you have anything at all and we can arrange copies etc.
Incidentally I have also discovered many old recordings of the Southampton club scene which I may do something with if there is any interest. If you were around in the 70's do get in touch also.

Andy

You sang the songs of Rick Keeling at Llantrisant in your numerous memorable floor spots, Miskin Man - he was quite a songwriter. One that sticks in my mind is Lymington Harbour: "Everyone's saying goodbye." What a song!

Hi Andy,

I am afraid you can only order it via the web, using a credit card - I think it works out, even with postage from the US, very cheap compared with UK costs (Manily due to current dollar/pound rates)

See www.ianrobb.com (This is the labels web site "Fallen Angle Records" and also Finest Kind's Page) - Best Regards

Tim

We got a bit side-tracked from the original intent of this thread...We need pictures of Rick from his early days.
