Can't get yahoo to come up to access email, search, or anything else. All other sites I frequent are working okay. Anyone heard any news about it? Nothing on Google news, yet.

My Yahoo mail works fine... as does the Yahoo messenger...

Same with all my Yahoo groups.....

Hmmm, thanks, CH. I've cleared my cache, cookies, history, etc. As I said, all other websites seem to be fine. Wonder if it could be just in the USA?

Huh, I wonder what it could be? I've run spybot, norton, no problems. Rebooted...it just hangs up while the little bar tries to turn all green, but no go. Any suggestions?

I'm having problems with my yahoo email tonight. I get the main page but when I click to look at my mail I just get the main page again.

I've been having trouble with Yahoo for 2 weeks now. No pictures or graphics, it no longer keeps me signed in (other password sites still do), slow to load and then nothing but lines. When/If I do get a sign-in box, it refuses to load things for me and I get a Cannot display page, or something to that effect. I'm in Illinois.

Thanks, folks, maybe it's just West of the Mississippi? (I'm in Colorado.) I cannot even get the main page. Had no problem with it early this morning.

No -- It happened here in South-East Aus. too. I don't have my email at Yahoo so the problem wasn't a major one for me - but Yahoo just wouldn't come up. Works fine now.

yes, Yahoo! mail has been slow for me also. It also does not retain my password so you are not the only one. I am sw of you in Arizona.

I've been fighting to read my mail. Kept getting the home screen tonight even though I clicked on new mail. Then I had trouble scrolling... continual rolling text. Similar problem on mudcat too, and bravenet hasn't been working properly either.

I'm having problems opening links in emails. Have to right click and open a new window sometimes. That's been going on with Yahoo for a few weeks now.

Well, I finally figured out a work-around. Went to uk.yahoo.com and got in! I haven't had any problems until today. I see on google news they are making over 10,000 employees take vacation time if they want pay, the last week of 2006 as they are going to shut their offices for that week.

Yahoo IM was flipping out on me over the weekend - I'm in the northeast-ish of USA (Maryland). Time seems to be the ultimate healer in this case.

Mail that I sent to my brother at yahoo.com kept coming back today. I know the address is right - I used "reply."

My ISP claimed that they didn't recognize that domain!

I had the same thing a while back which turned out to be a box not ticked.

You might check the following - if you go into Internet Explorer (if that is what you are using) and go to Tools and Internet Options. Go to the Advanced tab aqnd check that there is a tick in the box 'Enable third-party browser extensions (requires restart). Yahoo (and Google) both would not launch on two profiles on my machine until it was ticked.

Well, it seems to be back up and running, today. I heard from a few other local folks who also had trouble, yesterday. Thanks for all of your comments and suggestions, folks.

Anyone here have experience with google mail? I thought I'd get an account with them.

leenie - it is possible to do a "reply to" and have the wrong address. trust me. it is rare, but possible.
