I like the idea of the 'dark' morris, just for balance.

(Would like to be Carrot, but looks too much like Fred Colon)

Read it weeks ago, loved it... some dreadful puns that are well down to his usual standard....

Looking forward to the first frost with a different view now....

Why do you think they made morris dancers wear bells and brighty coloured ribbons in the first place, Dave!
Quack!

Dunno if you noticed the boardgame at our house, Terry:-) We could have had a game while you were there. Or seeing as it took so long to get round the singers that night we could have played at the folk club;-)

Cheers

Just finished it. Good as usual. Loveley little postscript at the end about a Morris team dancing, in black, with no music and bells at one of his signings. He reckons it was very scary and recommends that people don't try it:-)

Anyone else read it?

Cheers
