Thanks to all my friends in Banbury! We had a grand time there with you all and I had hoped to get to see a few more but alas we are travelling in the Lake District right now. Weather is glorius and tyhe scenery is as spectacular as any I have seen. Last evening we were staying in a hotel and I struck up a conversation with a gentleman who was DUdley Moore's piano teacher way back when. A very charming gentleman named Peter Cork, who has written a biography of Moore. He is a composer and a fine pianist as well and he humored my attempts to play a bit of whistle along with him. I was ok on the Skye Boat Song but faided a bit on tea for two! grin (Eat your heart out Leadfingers) Still may get up to ullapool to see giok. jimmyt

It was good to meet you and your wife at Banbury, Jimmy. Enjoy the rest of your trip.
I was the baldie bloke playing guitar and harmonica behind the spoons virtuoso on Friday night in the Globe Room.

So glad you were both able to come along to Banbury and also to grace us with your presence at the Gather!!! Lovely to meet you, didn't get to hear your whistles, maybe next time when you've got Tea for Two down pat. Safe journeying & watch out for that Giok *grin*

So why didn't you tell me you were coming over? We would have organised dinner or something, or I would have come to Banbury to see you!

Bad boy, bed with no supper!
