For Sheffield area folkies who might fancy a bit of dulcimer music, Kiveton Park Folk Club will have a feature night on Tuesday 24th October, with Christie Burns and Butch Ross. Christie and Butch are on tour from Kentucky and will be dropping in to Kiveton club to give us a few tunes on Appalachian and hammer dulcimer. It's not a 'guest'night as such, more of a normal singers' night with a bit extra. Admission fee will be the 'quid in the astray' whip-round at half time that we usually have on singers' nights. For that you'll get free tea and coffee if you don't booze (or even if you do!),free grub in the break, a really friendly crowd, a cheap bar and some masterful dulce music from Christie and Butch.
All welcome. Club open 8.00. Kick-off about 8.30.
