Subject: RE: Tune Req: Darli'n Corry From: GUEST,Richie Date: 22 Oct 06 - 11:15 AM Although Darlin Corey is also titled "Dig a Hole" there are many different version and variants on the melody. You reall would need to have a specific version to have anyone provide a melody. I have published one version with a melody but it's different than other versions and has one different chord change. That's just the way I learned it. Below are some versions from online Folk Music - An Index to Recorded Resources, an excellent resource: Darling Corey [Me II-AA21] Rt - Country Blues ; Dig A Hole in the Meadow ; Cora Allen ; Drowsy Sleeper/Sleepers ; Come All You Roving Gamblers ; Little Maggie ; I Ain't Gonna Work Tomorrow Wernick, Peter (ed.) / Bluegrass Songbook, Oak, Sof (1976), p 35a Leisy, James F.
