Yes...they are essentially the same.

Darlin' Corrie (usual spelling) has a number of variations, and some of the verses are found in other songs.

Although Darlin Corey is also titled "Dig a Hole" there are many different version and variants on the melody. You reall would need to have a specific version to have anyone provide a melody.

I have published one version with a melody but it's different than other versions and has one different chord change. That's just the way I learned it.
