(see HELP - it's all gone a bit bonkers)... which was my precoffee amble....

Post coffee I can see the woods for the trees... but am still perplexed. (great word).

I've had to re register my mudcat name as it didn't even know me anymore - let alone my cookie was corrupt. Tried the ould reset your cookie thing, and it didn't know me... so, had to reregister on't t'cat and have now lost 6 years of pm's and so on... :-(.

Happened to anyone else? Any ideas, it's all a bit mad...feel like I'm in a Bemudcat triangle...

If you were registered with a different name at some time in the past, try that one with the appropriate password. Max has been rebuilding the corrupted data these last few days and some of us have had to go back to old log in details in order to update them again.

ahhhh... I see... nope, tried Ella (who I used to be) and still that didn't work. At least it's not just me and I am in a Bemudcat triangle... swimming about aimlessly....

Your old identity is still there, you just spelled it wrong when you tried to reset your cookie.

If you hold your mouse over the letters PM after your name, in the From line at the start of every message, you will be able to see your membership number in the status line of your browser. For example, your new identity has number 19246. If you visit a recent thread you have posted to for example: US bans Vegemite - and do the same trick, you will find the membership number 6323, thus showing that we are talking about two separate identities.

If you look carefully, you will see that your old identity is spelled Ella who is Sooze, and not Suze.

Try logging in with your old identity. If it still doesn't work, send a PM or e-mail to Joe Offer.
