I can highly recommend Brackenrigg, they do 'folk' with effortless ease and are the salt of the earth performers who do so much to keep music live, spontaneous and genuine.

the blend of mandolin and guitar with 2 strong harmonising vocas, just draw you in to sing with them.

They are on my 'return' list.

Thanks Bruce, thanks Brian

2 hours!!, shit off shovel.

Hi Spot,

Easy mistake to make but I'm Hipshot man!

Moses is the curvy blonde one!

I second all she had to say about the evening

I don't know whether it's because we sing together (Breezy wouldn't let us last night!) or because we look so similar that people get us confused. Perhaps it's just the silly names! ;0)

Steve.

Thanks , John, for pick...quite an impressive little gismo!! I thought it'd be far too small till I tried it. Not so..it stays on remarkably well....!! Also, many thanks to Senor Flegg for CD (dunno if he does Mudcat so I'll try an email him...) :-)

                     Regards to all.... Spot

Wasn't it just a great night!!

Plenty of variety, lots of good joining-in songs ...... and that's just the support acts!

Seriously, it was a very enjoyable evening and Brackenrigg (with the CK) were friendly, professional and entertaining.

Looking forward to next week - hope that young man who sang the Dylan and Thompson songs will turn up and give us another song or two.

And the week after that its ME!!!!!
