On someone's lead here, I signed up for the Yahoo site referred to above, some time since--at least three weeks ago, and maybe longer.

When I access it, I still see a message like "Membership held pending approval by owner."

What gives? Do I have halitosis or B.O. or something?

The listowner/moderator needs to have enabled the 'advise of signups' switch set to be advised of new members.

as far as i know everyone who asked to be added has been
but i could have missed someonw..
i stiil think paltalk is easier..
and we have not yet activbated our yanoo group

so that mac folks could join..

sorry i have not opened the room or tested it yet...
perhaps soon...i just spent the last week on a train
(with no computer access) playing music and having
way too much fun.....i will get back to computer
acxcess soon....right now i am at a hotel computer...
so will try when i get home.

Making Something Happen!

I have now sent to all members of the group a request via Yahoo Messenger to add me to your Yahoo Friends List - this will allow us to see each other when we are online. Then we can set up a chat or a multiple person 'room' which will function like the old Paltalk Music Rooms with mics and speakers.

My new Yahoo Id (profile) is now fooles.troupe (note the ".") - it took some time for me to change over things from my old id.

If you join the list after this time - in Yahoo Messenger, send me a message - and you will link up with me.

The best way for this system to work is for each of you to send each other a similar request to this one, otherwise you can only work this just thru me.

Note that you need to be running Yahoo Messenger to make this work - unless you joined this list by email only, you should already have a Yahoo id.
