Can anyone remember who else was on at the Doncaster Folk Festival in 1970? It was headlined by Ralph McTell, and organised by Danny Clarke and Lenny Wesley, but I'm sure there were other artistes.

The reason I remember McTell was that he was the only one who came up and thanked me afterwards for the sound mix. My mate Geoff Wright (now with Bracken Rigg) was doing the lighting and I was doing the sound.

Curiously the girl who later became my wife was in the audience, though I didn't meet her until some weeks later.

Ah reminiscences, they aren't what they used to be!

Brackenrigg are Bruce and Brian from Wolverhampton, I know, they palyed St Albans last Sunday

This Sunday it'll be Derek Brimstone

He was about long before 1970

Was he there

That'll be at the Comfort hotel, holywell Hill , this Sun in St Albans

I wont mention Graeme Knights, - he was too young

if not, ask Dr Who
