Hi Bobby, this may be a Rolling Stones track called "I'm Free", I have
no date for it, and no further information as it is on a German album
where only the track titles are in English. (fortunatly the tracks
are in english too).

Hope this helps

Cattail !

I think - but I may be wrong - that this is an American R&B song, perhaps Motown, that the Stones covered.

"I'm Free" was on the Stones and was on thier album December's Children (circa 1965) and is credited as being written by Jagger/Richards.

To me I would guess it as being a Sam Cooke song ... sorta has that 'feel' to it.

Nonetheless it might be a good idea to alert the midwife or obstetrician.

Subject: Lyr Add: I'M FREE (Mick Jagger, Keith Richards)
From: Jim Dixon
Date: 23 Nov 06 - 09:07 AM

I'M FREE
Mick Jagger, Keith Richards

I'm free to do what I want any old time.
I'm free to do what I want any old time.
So love me, hold me, love me, hold me.
I'm free any old time to get what I want.

I'm free to sing my song though it gets out of time.
I'm free to sing my song though it gets out of time.
So love me, hold me, love me, hold me,
And I'm free any old time to get what I want.

Love me, hold me, love me, hold me,
But I'm free any old time to get what I want.

I'm free to choose what I please any old time.
I'm free to choose what I please any old time.
So hold me, love me, love me, hold me.
I'm free any old time to get what I want, yes I am.

[Recorded by the Rolling Stones; released on "Out Of Our Heads" (UK) and "December's Children" (US), 1965. Covered by Chris Farlowe, The Soup Dragons, Wilmer & The Dukes, and a few others.]

[Warning: There are many other songs with the same title.]
