Subject: BS: Inappropriate compant names From: Dave the Gnome Date: 24 Nov 06 - 10:58 AM Just driven behind a van proubly bearing the legend 'S & M plumbing and heating'. Subject: RE: BS: Inappropriate company names From: Genie Date: 02 Dec 06 - 01:18 PM Pschitt - German company, I presume - also makes a cola. I used to see the ads for Pschitt on the sides of the ice rinks in the televised figure skating competitions back in the 1970s and 1980s, as well as Pschitt Cola cups in the stands. One I recall that's not so much inappropriate as humorously misleading is the "Limerick Generating Station." Once you know it's located in Limerick, PA, you can probably peg it as an electrical power plant. But I like my first impression of its "product line" a lot better. |
