I'm in Hull. It is 23:42 on Monday night and as I write, three copies of my PhD thesis are spewing out of the laboratory printers - 250 pages, 80000 words on cod!

I would like to say a big thank you to all of you in Beverley, Hull and Barrow who have kept me sane with tunes, songs, beer and friendship in the last 6 (!?!) years.

As you may know, tomorrow is the session in Barrow upon Humber. I hope those of you who see this in time might be able to drop in and make it a memorable night.

Unfortunately, I'll be driving...

If you miss it, don't worry - I'll be back!

Congratulations on finishing your thesis! You must be feeling that wonderful post-final-exams euphoria many times over.

Have fun at the session.

Ok Greg. "Stopped me going completely mad" might be more appropriate! See you all tonight.

Great news Richard. What now?
Sorry, can't join you in Barrow tonight..
....but maybe you'll (still) be free to join the local musical'festivities' in Hodgsons, (Beverley) on Sunday 10th December from 3. A food contribution would be welcomed and do not forget that fiddle!
Hazel.

Enjoy the session, Richard. If you're ever in the York area on a Wednesday, we still have our weekly sesh - it's pretty popular these days, with seldom less than 12-15 participants. It would be good to see you:

Thanks Villain, the battle bus is still on the road, and with more than 'one wheel on my wagon (an' I'm still rollin' along)...((that's a song isn't it?)) perambulating without the use of hands or handles. It's about to be lent out as a 'bedroom' for friends with Christmas visitors, Brrr !

Sorry for thread drift Richard, hope to see you in Monks on Sun 3rd or Hodgsons party.

H.
