Have I missed them or are there really no threads concerning the Scots Trad Music Awards which were held in Fort William on 2 December 2006? If you were there what was your opinion?

Well, I hope they were conducted a little better than the BBC's current efforts.

Lot of discussion about it at Simon Thoumire's "Foot Stompin" website.

This is an Anglo American website. Not much interest here in what happens in Scotland.

I cant believe that anybody with an interest in folk, traditional, roots or country music, no matter where they live(even in "Anglo America"), can be disinterested in what happens in Scotland. Much of the music played in "Anglo America" originated here after all. Perhaps the guest was being ironic? Anyway I'm off to join the SNP - "Frreeedommm!!!".
