I have a pal in Exeter (not a folkie) who wants to try out folk clubs. Can anyone recommend a good, welcoming club? One that is, perhaps, a bit mad and not bogged down?

Thanks

Rhiannon

Hi Rhiannon...I believe the Globe in Topsham on a Sunday night is worth a visit. Best wishes, Mike.

..."a bit mad and not bogged down?"
Not sure what this means in the context of folk music. Bogged down in the 'tradition' perhaps? Surely not!
Could you elaborate please?
