Anyone know how to allow multiple email accounts to use the same T-bird download? Not multiple identities of the same person, but multiple people. I can't find anything in the FAQ or Knowledge Base.

Tools>Account Settings>Manage Identities...I think. I am the only one hwo uses ours, so not sure.

I think it's just a matter of setting different passwords and 'accounts'

If you want two entirely different sets of in boxes, trash folders, etc....I think you'd have to install two copies of the program.

My wife & I have done this with Eudora, and I have 2 'identities' for 2 different email addys set in Thunderbird, though I plan to go back to just Eudora soon, as it has a few more options...(particularly, being able to set the time zone stamp to either the sender or the receiver.)

Thunderbird is very nice, but is not quite that complex yet...Pegasus mail 'might' be.

Bill, I cannot remember why I couldn't use Eudora any longer, but would sure love to, again. Any idea where to get a usable download of it? (Here I go with another "duh" question.:-)

Well, the big news is that Eudora will go open source and free early next year. You can still get the ad-supported version free now, or a reduced price on the pay version.

(and with a little effort, you can find the registration code even now.)

(I may be prejudiced, as my mother's name was Eudora...but it is still a good program.) Pegasus Mail has even more features, but has more learning curve.
