Subject: First Ever Telluride Bluegrass Fest From: katlaughing Date: 17 Mar 99 - 02:48 AM I was a very young mother with a tiny boychild, but he and I were lucky enough to spend one day at the first bluegrass festival ever to be held in Telluride. Were any of you there? Any fond memories? katlaughing |

Subject: RE: First Ever Telluride Bluegrass Fest From: Margo Date: 17 Mar 99 - 11:47 AM I used to live in Telluride. I worked in the Deli Downstairs. But that was the winter of '89. I remember the only activities being skiing by day and drinking by night. For such a small town they sure do have a lot of taverns. I didn't have the pleasure of being there in the spring, but it sure was pretty in the winter. The waterfall at one end of town way up on the cliff by the power station freezes solid. Anyone remember Lauren and Renee who owned the Deli? I'm still in touch with them.......... Margarita |
