Subject: BS: Happy Birthday to Alice From: Allan C. Date: 20 Dec 06 - 05:50 AM I'm remembering back to the days when you posted as "Alice in Montana". Your postings are just as bright and knowledgeable now as they were then - perhaps even more so - despite, or even because of your being just a bit older. I hope today is a very special day for you. Because it is your birthday it is special for us. |

Subject: RE: BS: Happy Birthday to Alice From: GUEST,Alice stuck on the road Date: 22 Dec 06 - 01:34 PM Hi, All! Thanks for the birthday thread! I forgot my birthday again this year, but my co-workers in Billings took me to lunch and bought me a piece of cake. I just checked in to mudcat today and appreciate that Allan and all remembered. I am in Billings, waiting for a fax to come through from Eckroth Music in Bismark, ND, for the yellow pages listings for their music store here in Billings.... I may just give up and head back to Bozeman, as there is a snow storm and I've already fallen on the sidewalk and hurt my shoulder this morning. It's tough to use my right arm, so I want to get a couple of hours of driving done and get home. Thanks for the good fellowship here and your kind thoughts! Alice Flynn somewhere in Montana |

Subject: RE: BS: Happy Birthday to Alice From: Midchuck Date: 22 Dec 06 - 10:50 PM Try to get it fixed in Billings. It's damn hard to find a good doctor in Bozeman! (Nyuck, nyuck!) Peter. |
Subject: RE: BS: Happy Birthday to Alice From: Alice Date: 23 Dec 06 - 10:30 AM Peter, Hardy har har! I'll tell on you! I had to call in my injury to the HR office and report it, as I am on the road for my job all the time and this injury is considered a worker's comp incident. My arm lost mobility, pain from hand to neck and I drove home left handed and had my son unload the car for me. Friends kept saying the phrase "torn rotor cuff" and that I should go to the worker's comp doctor to have it checked out. Why do these things always happen on a holiday weekend? I have to drive back to Billings on the day after Christmas to work, but I'm not sure if my arm is going to be up to lifting anything. I guess I'll go to the doctor before I leave town. Thanks for remembering me, folks. |
Subject: RE: BS: Happy Birthday to Alice From: GUEST Date: 24 Dec 06 - 08:13 AM Sorry, Alice! I hope things work out w/ your arm w/ a minimum of pain & upset. Merry Christmas, just the same! love you, Barbara |
