I am a very happy man, because I get great pleasure from playing music ,I have also given many others pleasure.
On my vinyl album, Cheating The tide,Martin Carthy was happy to play guitar.,[Thats a good enough endorsement for me].
Ive spent many years as a professional singer ,spent many hours playing and teaching[this year one of my pupils was an all Ireland champion on the harmonica],.

Dick, you do not have to prove anything to anyone. The troll is another example of what is wrong with Mudcat.   

If it were ever put to a vote, I would vote to ban "guest" postings - in all threads. Far from turning this site into an exclusive club, it would serve to eliminate crap like that. If someone has something to say to someone, they should not hide behind a mask.

It is an honor and a privalage to be able to share thoughts and conversations with people of your stature. We might not always see eye to eye, but I know I always learn something here.

Is all matter of personell taste weloike some music not other had a listen to the clips on this site and sounds very pleasent to my ear.
Dont now were anyone would get of saying it is crap because even if I didnt like it the playing is very well done indeed.

Nice site... I like userfriendly sites its user friendly and easy to read. Think mine is a bit cumbersome and in need of a rehash. Used to have a concertina page, but it got lost somewhere:)

I really cant understand why people feel the need to put negative postings. If you cant find anything positive to say dont say anything. Surely any critisism can be constructive rather than downright rude.
