Tech: Drivers for Elite K7VMM+ motherboard

As per my other thread about Fatal exceptions, I now have a friends old Elite K7VMM+ mother board memory CPU (Athlon 2000) and cooler.

I ahve spare PSU, case, floppy drives, hard drives, optical drives, etc.

I have had a good rummage onthe internet and cannot find a complete set of drivers for this board. I can get bios for it, I can get some sound drivers, but in particular I cannot get PCI bus drivers.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I think I gave away a PC built on that last month...

If you can't find drivers on the elite site, try VIA drivers (assuming I have the board right) site.

Yes Jon, it is largely VIA - but I can't find the PCI driver there. Not even at driverguide.

Your mate would not be able to make me a clone of his driver disc would he?

Richard, I can't be certain it was that board and I won't be able to get hold of this person until Wednesday. If it turns out to be the right one and you are still stuck, yes we could sort a CD out for you.

I thought I had been on an ECS site but it doesn't look like that one. My other computer is currently queueing for the download guide and it seems as if the site is in no hurry!

I found updated drivers for a K7V on the Asus site though mine was a lot earlier model. I don't remember having to divert to the VIA website but maybe I did. You often have to dig in the archive section.
