I have requested that the town remove those signs. They are getting lots of deer killed.

Was not able to find even a hint of the song on the www. Sorry, oldhippie.

Around 25 years ago in New England, a singer/songwriter appeared at several folk venues, then disappeared. I believe his name was Michael Baron, and one song he sang was "Deer Crossing Checker", about a state employee who had this great job driving around in a truck setting up deer crossings and then monitoring the crossings to make sure the deer used them. Does anyone have the lyrics, or his cassette transferred to CD or mp3?
