Looking for the lyrics to this song, in Portuguese if possible. I believe it's a traditional Brazilian song.

May have been recorded by Los Paraguayos under a different name (O Cangaceiro).

Would also appreciate any information on this song.

Ooops! Spelling mistake--when I spelled it correctly got tons of lyrics. Should be "mulher rendeira".

"Mulher Rendeira" -Brazilian song, belonging to the folk history,talking about the women who used to work with sewing special pieces(towels,cloth,kitchen towels,etc = "rendas"),and the supposed enchantment they had to "Lampião", that was a real character, of the northeast region of Brazil, and he was feared by all, in the beggining of the 19th century.The song was made famous by several brazilian musicians, mainly Luiz Gonzaga, in rithm of "Baião".
