I meant to put this up long before Christmas. Convivio produces hand made books. They work with a Shaker community in Grey, ME. I have a copy of Putting Up Mangoes, a beautiful story made more poignant since the last hurricane season brought down Mother Mango. A very sad business. Anyway, here is the link:

And I forgot to mention the time I got Don Bradman first ball, with an unplayable legbreak at Adelaide. And the lessons I gave Leadbelly on the 12-string on Parchman Farm. Not to mention the time I told Nelson, go through the line in two columns and the job's a good'un.
Oh, and Boat Band, Boar's Head Middlewich Feb 3.

These cloying attempts to curry favour and get others interested in your sad pointless music is a poor commentary on today's society.
This sort of thing should be banned. But since it is allowed, I suppose that now we all have to follow suit.
If I did, my site might look something like this Revolting image.
I hate buckling to peer pressure.
I hate myself. Gotta go eat worms, now.

I'm in Witness Protection right now but should be wriggling out of it soon. In the meantime will be doing a Burns Night at The I.S.C.C. on the 27th. They're great. Won't let me sing any Scottish stuff at all.
On the subject of coming down south. You know there's no polite way to photograph & fingerprint your visitors. Can't seem to get used to that.

OK if we're all going for it.
"Trip to the Lakes" Boat Band, Harbourtown Recds HARCD047
"Hypnotic...refreshing honesty" fRoots
"Sparky unusual and quirky...superbly researched" Living Tradition
"superb" Musical Traditions
"Brilliant" Johnny Adams, Village Music Proeject
"splendidly upbeat...superbly arranged" Rock'n'Reel
Rod Stradling (editor of Musical Traditions) picked this as one of the "ten albums that changed my life" in his recent article.
"Greg Stephens is one of those musicians that makes other people's lives fuller. I have admired him for a long time" (Eliza Carthy, "Rough Music" liner notes)

Is this shamelss enough?
