in an earlier thread I asked about folk clubs near Lincoln, and many thanks to everyone who replied.
but I got the area wrong. my friends of friends actually live in Beckingham 5 miles out of Sleaford towards Sleaford - can anyone suggest any where. they are looking for singing rather than musician.

All of the ones mentioned in the other thread are still within a reasonable distance but you could add Bingham Folk Club(just off the A46 between Newark and Nottingham). Meets every Friday in the Town Pavilion and you get a very warm welcome.

Tell them to listen to Folkwaves (Monday 7pm BBC Radio Lincolnshire/Nottingham/Derby) or BBC Radio Lincolnshires folk programme on Wednesday at 6.35pm to find out what is happening!
