I saw an add on a web site for guitar lessons by Eddie Adcock. I was wondering if this is the same Eddie Adcock who played banjo for the bluegrass group, "The Country Gentlemen"?

Sorry, no idea, but I guess you could contact the guitar teacher via his website and ask him!

Or you could contact a banjo teacher & ask him if he knows of a guitar teacher called Eddie Adcock who can play the banjo

Maybe if he can play banjo, he will consider giving banjo lessons too?

I have seen Eddie A perform on several ocaisions and he is an accomplished guitarist, so if he is the one giving lessons, I'm sure they will be worth taking.

Agreed. Eddie could be a thorny, occasionally obnoxious banjo player when onstage with the Country Gentlemen, but then, bluegrass bars don't always make gentlefolk out of performers. His stage persona aside (and remember, that was 30 years ago), he definitely plays both banjo and guitar very much better than "well."

If he's giving lessons, you should try him.

Bob
