HIT " THE WRITE NOTE "@ THE LINCOLN (UK) CENTRAL LIBRARY ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 1st, 2007 Noon - 2pm

Musicians and songwriters due to appear at the 1st February date, include BBC Radio Lincolnshire's Folk Programme presenter Tom Lane, folk and blues guitarist Len Eyre, concertina and saxophone combo Colin Holland & Jerry Wiswould, Bluesharp player "Easy" Bob Reid, ragtime and blues guitarist Pete Wray, singer songwriter Dan Hickin, and host "Strummin" Steve Jackson

The second in this new mid-week monthly acoustic music session for singer songwriters and musicians is held at Lincoln Central Library in Free School Lane.
"The Write Note" is an opportunity for musicians to try out something original or something traditional or contemporary as long as it's on an acoustic instrument.
The session is open to both performers & people who just want to listen and enjoy the live sounds. Why not combine it with a visit to the Library? Tea and coffee available too.
The concert is held in the exhibition room in the building. Admission is free to both performers and audience and you can attend for the full 2 hour session or just dip in for a taste of the live music over your lunch break.
Contact host, Steve Jackson @ Stephen.jackson8@ntlworld.com if you'd like a slot.
It next meets on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 7th

Well that was worth going to see. Lots of variety and an excellent turnout. To think that Brian Dawson and Liam Robinson didn't perform.

Well done Steve, hard work but well worth it IMHO.

Nice to be able to sit and relax and have nowt to do other than listen :-)

Mmmm, shame about those of us who have to work to live........wouldn't it be better if it was on in an evening?

Sorry, that sounded really grumpy. It's because I'm at work! :-) :-)

I'll re-phrase it:-

I'd like to come along but unfortunately I'm working during the day on week-days. Would it be possible to move it to an evening, so that I, and others like me, could attend?

Cheers :-)
