I agree completely.

On the other hand, in the Don Everly birthday thread, Peter mentioned the Everly Brothers' "Songs Our Daddy Taught Us" recording, because it is them singing traditional songs. I never heard it so I listened to some sound bytes at Amazon.com and I'm going to have to get it...

i was shocked to know that Robert had passed away...
Robert and Charles Whitstein had a blend of harmony that only brothers can have and i thoroughly enjoyed their music!
brought back memories of Ira and Charlie Louvin!

Actually, it was Robert who died. Charles recorded with Jesse McReynolds. Robert Whitstein died on November 14, 2001. I have no details.

i was recently reading about an album(cd) that has been recorded by Jesse McReynolds and Robert Whistein to honor their departed singing brothers!
my question is,when did Charles Whitstein passs away!
i know about Jesses' brother Jim, but have not heard about Charles Whitsteins' passing!
