I am intrested in hearing from any young folk musicians in Essex who would like to start a project together. Im trying to start a local youth folk group and desperatly need people. If you know of anyone who may be interested please direct them to this thread.

Essex is a big county, and fairly centripetal (ie some bits link more naturally to Hertfordshire or London then to places like Colchester) - best to indicate which bit you are in.

No it isn't! Yorkshire's a BIG county.
Mind you, I agree that specifying a location makes sense. If you were in somewhere such as Harlow old Town you might find it easier to link up with Watham Cross in Hertfordshire than with someone in Shoeburyness (haven't checked spelling).
