Subject: RE: Add: Help To Identify Needed-Hill Above the City From: Ebbie Date: 06 Mar 11 - 11:56 PM She said that lost children walk downhill and adults who plan suicide go uphill." Guest/leenia That sounds about right to me. When one is lost, one should go downhill- there you will find water and if you follow water you will eventually find people. As for going uphill when one plans suicide, that makes sense to me too. I would not want to be shut up in some hole in the wall where I couldn't take one last look around at the world, beloved no matter how flawed my life may have been. |

Subject: RE: Add: Help To Identify Needed-Hill Above the City From: GUEST,leeneia Date: 12 Feb 07 - 10:44 AM It's a form of extortion - "Give me what I want or I'll kill myself and you'll have to live with the consequences." This is not an idea that we want to disseminate. Neither is it evidence of love. Years ago, my husband knew a man who actually did that. There must have been more wrong with him than unrequited love. FYI, I once read a book by Marilyn Greene called "Finder." She was involved for years in search-and-rescue and in finding abducted children. She said that lost children walk downhill and adults who plan suicide go uphill. |

I am curious who put this maudlin song together. Was it in a suicide note? Charley Noble |
