Further to the Beach/beech thread about not much music in South Manchester , well, there is loads!

Monday -- The Orpheus Supertones are on at the Red Bull.
They're a really top American Old Timey band, the sort of music they used in the film "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" Fiddles guitars and banjos!

Starts 8.30 and it's only £3.00.
Get down and have a look at what the fuss is about!!
They're headlining at Gainsborough Festival this weekend as well.

I think the reason you think there's not much folk music in South Manchester is because you don't go out and watch it.

There's four nights of music in Stockport alone, as well as all the singer songwriter stuff-How much do you want?
