I have some old mpga audio files that I cannot open. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to play these files?
Thanks,
pyewacket

You should not need anything special....if you rename the extension to simply .mp3, they 'should' play. If not, an advanced player like Foobar2000 will play almost anything. (MPGa is MPEG-layer 1, I believe)

(Some players recognize a file only by its extension, so if it's not named something that it has in its list, it can't play it. Other, cleverer players actually 'read' the headers in the file and recognize it by its composition.....The same thing happens with some image viewers)
