My big sister Kate has had two heart attacks and heart surgery today
She has had to be revived once with the electric paddles.
Can you please send a prayer if thats your thing or light a candle or just send her some healing thoughts. She is in Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.

That's just about what I was going to say, Jeff. Pat, good thoughts are on their way. Breathe deeply and slowly and relax your system. Fully understandable as fear is, it is hard to produce good thoughts when one is panicked or overwhelmed.

Maybe that was the source of some of the insomia, too. Spaw, myself and others are living testaments to the wonders they can do with heart surgery these days. Try to keep a positive image of your sister post-surgery at home and recovering well. It works.:-)

Pat, love & hugs to both of you. My Dad and my Mum both had heart bypass operations and were so much better afterwards than they had been for years. And look at Catspaw, he's still here bothering us after his big scare some years back. :-)

Both Kendall and his brother have had heart bypass surgery and both are pretty fit right now.

Ah, Bruce, she has a stent of her own now!
I've just come back from Edinburgh where I visited my sister this afternoon. She looks well and is making progress, YAY!!!

She was surprised that I had come to visit - I told her I was skiving from work, but the truth is I was so tearful at work this morning that I had to go and see her.

I'm very tired its been a long day, so I'll say my goodnights and many thanks for all the good stuff you sent - no worries about not sleeping tonight!
