Shrewsbury boasts a yet newer festival site. This is The Show-Ground and looks for all the world to be bigger, self-contained and fully appointed - for those wondering about the facilities. Not having been to the site it remains to be seen what the new venue has in store but knowing Sandra and Alan - the experience of last year will be all part of the decision-making process that led to the latest iteration.

And there will be a free bus to town - and well worth the ride.
On-site shop, free parking blah blah blah.

Shrewsbury is about my limit on distance, Joy only participates one night so distance is a big issue - and the organisers help me make that decision.

Regular stewards please note: I already have 112 stewards confirmed which is an astonishingly high number for the time of year. I wouldn't want you to miss out by returning your forms late - please don't delay. I think it's likely that all stewarding positions will be filled well in advance of the festival.
