Subject: Yellowbellies 2 CD for charity From: Rasener Date: 23 Feb 07 - 10:24 AM The CD called Yellowbellies 2 is now out. All proceeds less cost of production, MCPS etc will go to the following charity. http://www.clicsargent.org.uk/Home It will be a limited edition and cost £10 plus P&P I would like to thank all the artists and composers for donating each song FOC and for all the other people involved in helping the CD to get off the ground. The song written and performed by Helian Keys "Take my hand" was written specifically for people with cancer in mind and I would like to consider that as the theme song on the CD in relation to the charity CLIC Sargent My sincere apologies for those people that didn't get on the CD this time. All the artists are based in Lincolnshire and the reason it is called Yellowbellies. Here is a list of each song and artist.
Anyway, anybody wishing to pre-order, please PM me or post on this thread. Your money will go to a good cause. The background to each song will not go on the sleeve as it is too much, but it will, together with lyrics and links to each artist will go on the Faldingworth Live website. Here is the link Yellowbellies 2 CD . This will enable people to copy and paste to a word document that you will be able to print out. Many thanks Les Worrall Please be aware that I will be editing and deleting threads in order to keep the thread as managable as possible. So please don't be surprised if a post dissapears, you haven't done anything wrong :-) |

Subject: RE: Yellowbellies 2 CD for charity From: Black Diamond Date: 17 May 07 - 05:57 AM Hi Les Ive really enjoyed the cd Les. although I am no singer myself, and tend towards preferring instrumental stuff, i enjoyed the cd so much I keep playing it!!! and, last night at the AVID session at West Stockwith John Blanks turned up, and sang the song on the cd, which of course went down realy well. I dont know him, never heard of him before the cd, and when he started to sing I thought, what a lovely voice I'm sure Ive heard him before, and then it came to me - on the cd!! small world isnt it. if you are reading this John, Hi I'm the girl sat opposite you with the melodeon, attempting to play along with a few tunes Im hesitantly trying to learn, as a novice!! best wishes Lin |
