My friends, Lois and Greg Syrek will be hosting a house concert on Sunday, March 11th featuring The Laws (John & Michelle) from Toronto, Canada. Pot luck is at 1:30 PM and the concert begins at 3 PM. Suggested donation is $15 per person. The venue is located in Belvidere (White Township), N.J. near the Delaware Water Gap. Hi Steve,
          You can hear a sample of some of their songs on the MySpace site. They do traditional folk and also write some of their own songs. It is very upbeat, something like country western style. I have not yet heard them live but some other performers whom I have booked for my own concert series have highly recommended them. I am going to hear them that day for the first time with the intention of booking them if I like what I hear. Lois & Greg's living room is a very comfortable and cozy venue and they are very friendly people. I was there for their opening concert with Rod Picott which was very well attended. I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed if you attend.

Hi Sol,

We have a few seats left for The Laws. On April 22, we pleased to be hosting Jeff Black, then on June 3rd, favorites of mine, Red Molly.    On July 15th, Cliff Eberhart, and on October 14th, the man who started our house concert "career", Rod Picott (who hopefully will have Amanda Shires with him). Opening will be George Wirth!

All of a sudden it's a very full schedule, I'll be looking for you Sol!

If anyone's interested in attending any of the shows. They're all on Sunday afternoons, early enough so you can get home before it gets too dark.   We have a potluck first.   And, we're located in Warren County, NJ.
