A new session has started in whitby, every Sunday afternoon at the Endeavour on Church Street, very much an informal session anything goes, music, song, monologues, folk, blues, jazz, whatever takes your fancy. Barry and Michael are good supporters of live music and welcome perfomers at any time.
They also host a Friday night session and a Saturday night session with occasional booked guests. Open till 1am Monday to Saturday and 11pm on Sundays.

Excellent news, Raggy, old bean. We may just pop in from time to time!

Actually, any trip to Whitby is not complete without a visit to the Endeavour - at least I don't think that Maggie and I have ever managed such a visit! Barrie and Michael are also 'from Hull' and as such are among the most favoured people in the world (in my not so humble opinion).

You'll notice that the Noble Baron Tash says 'informal'. This I take to mean a dive-in sort of session, so I fully expect to see a number of postings commenting on how they weren't asked to perform! Or it may be that if there are quite a number present someone will undertake to try to preserve a bit of order.

Stop Press ....... The poster that on Sunday said 1pm start has suddenly changed to 2pm start ........... so 2pm it will be.

Les, I know your comments were tongue in cheek but God forbid that we should be organised by anyone, you know how these sessions work and if it ain't broke don't fix it.
