Subject: Sessions in Belfast From: GUEST,Cats Date: 06 Mar 07 - 09:19 AM Over the Easter week Jon and I, along with a couple of other singers, are going to Belfast for our Union conference [which is why we're missing Miskin]. We would love to find some 'real' sessions and preferably a ballad session or two. Pandering to my own interests, I would like to find a storytelling session as well. Bearing in mind we will be dependant on public transport and taxis, can anyone suggest places we should check out. Thanks. |

Subject: RE: Sessions in Belfast From: Herge Date: 06 Mar 07 - 11:43 AM 7th April Session in Mattie Moores pub in Cairncastle near Larne - 4pm - 9pm You could get train to Larne and I could get you a lift to pub - you would have to get tazi back to Belfast (about £25) alternativelly good session in John Hewitts bar in Belfast 6pm - mostly tunes. |
