For anybody who doesn't know - his real name is Barry Moore and he's the brother of the other famouse Moore (Christy).

I used to regularly go and see Luka Bloom at the Red Lion pub in Greenwich Village in the 80s. I was there the night he got signed to Warners. My friends and I really thought he was something special.

I hope I can be in Whitby to see him for the first time in around 18 years! He was a great live performer.

I first saw him ,completely by chance, suporting Canada's Cowboy Junkies at Redcar bowl in 1990. Wonderful stuff! Got most of his albums since then. Well worth a look!
