Do any songs exist? He was apparently a fairly corrupt police chief in New York in the days of Tammany Hall. He might be a relative of my grandmother's...everyone I have encountered on the Devery geneology sites seems to be related. I am working my way through my famous relatives and will see about Bat Masterson next....mg

I have never heard him mentioned in song, although a couple of songs do mention the Tammany crowd.
