Who sings this song?

A couple of days ago, at a mall, playing piped music, I heard a woman singing a folk song. The words went like this:

"Mother, oh mother mine, In my (--?) and in my eyes. Mother, oh mother mine, In my sorrows and my joys".

These are the only words I can remember. I think she played, or was accompanied by, a guitar. Thank you, Susan.

.. and here's a horrible thought.... I think I remember it being sung by Lena Zavaroni, on a UK TV program called Opertunity Knocks.... with Hughie Green..... (I'm showing my age again......)

Now I'm off for a lie down.......... horrible memory... (although my gran thought she was lovely ......)

Mystery solved. The song is called "Mother of Mine" (No relation to the song by Lena Zaveroni - Sheesh, i'd forgotten about Opportunity Knocks!!)

The Album this song is from, is called "Mother; A Celebration of Motherhood" by Susan McKeown, Robin Spielberg, and Cathie Ryan.

I found it after a long search, at: http://www.robinspielberg.com/mother.htm

It's a pretty album.
