29 Mar 99 - 11:02 AM (#66676) Subject: Who sings this song? From: stillbrook@hotmail.com A couple of days ago, at a mall, playing piped music, I heard a woman singing a folk song. The words went like this: "Mother, oh mother mine, In my (--?) and in my eyes. Mother, oh mother mine, In my sorrows and my joys". These are the only words I can remember. I think she played, or was accompanied by, a guitar. Thank you, Susan. |

The song is called "Mother of Mine" (No relation to the song by Lena Zaveroni - Sheesh, i'd forgotten about Opportunity Knocks!!) The Album this song is from, is called "Mother; A Celebration of Motherhood" by Susan McKeown, Robin Spielberg, and Cathie Ryan.
