25 Mar 07 - 09:02 PM (#2007120) Subject: RE: Folklore: Paltalk no open for live music From: The Fooles Troupe No, Paltalk itself won't let old version log into the chat rooms - can't remember last time I checked whether the new version will not run on 98SE - but since the w*ankers won't let you do a download of the SW in the background (which I can stagger over several days), but insist that it has to be done live on line, I won;t be wasting my time. I did try to get people interested in the Yahoo Messenger rooms (same concept as Paltalk - but Yahoo works on most PCs including older ones and non windows ones) - we even set up a Yahoo group to discuss that - and there is an old thread here somewhere about that - but there was nobody prepared to set up a time, so since I can't commit to a regular time, I just let it slide, and the whole thing just lapsed. |
