BS: Problem with Sonic Stage

This may be a no-no. I posted a thread up top- but there has been no response so I'll try it down here. I'm just sure that someone on the Cat can halp me. Here's what I said:

I've been using Sonic Stage v. 3.2 for a couple of years now and with no problem. It's fairly fast and the quality is good.

Then this month my CD tray refused to open and I ended up buying and installed an external CD drive, which is Drive F.

Drive F is recognized by Sonic Stage and yesterday I created several CDs.

Today, suddenly, with a total of only 65 minutes of song in 'My Library' that I'm trying to transfer to an 80-minute CD, it claims that there is insufficient room on the "disc containing temporary folders" and says only 10 of 23 tunes can be transferred.

What disc? Which "temporary folder"? Why suddenly have the rules changed?

I emptied the temporary folder that one finds under Internet Options and that makes no difference. I have re-booted twice. Makes no difference.

Anyone?

Have you tried another disc?

You have to give sufficient time for the geeks to stumble along, mate... :-) i know some song requests are answered in minutes, bu there are far fewer tech geeks who are sufficiently competent to be able to guess usefully about technical problems! :-)

I suggest we combine these 2 threads - I have suggested an approach up top...

FT, I don't agree that they should be combined.

An update here- in case someone else should have the same problem.

First I sent about half my "C" hard drive contents over to the external drive freeing up a lot of space. Then I replaced my Sonic Stage v.3.2 with the latest version: 4.3. (It's all free.)

Works great now. Life is smiley again.
