Seems like the publicity machine is well cranked up. Have you bought your copies?

From Waterstones http://www.waterstones.com/waterstonesweb/navigate.do?pPageID=1018

You'll have to wait until 21 July to get your copy, but if you pre-order now not only will you get it half price for £8.99, you'll also get it delivered to your door on the day of publication along with your free* copy of Wizardology: A Guide to Wizards of the World.

If you pre-order your copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows from Waterstones.com you will also receive a copy of Wizardology: A Guide to Wizards of the World, absolutely free* (RRP £10.99). This fabulous book - for any muggles keen to know more about wizard practice - will be delivered at the same time as your copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It is exclusive to Waterstone's and available while stocks last. *Offer ends 1 May 2007.

Agreed about the covers. They are nicer. I also heard that the first book had several words and phrases that were different in the British editions than in the American ones. In essence that they "Americanized" our copies so the would be easier to understand here in the states. I wonder if that's still going on. I'd prefer to read them in the original versions if possible.

I can't understand how Adults can get excisted over a book, Children yes but Adults!
I have never read and saw a Harry Potter film or book, however that just what it is a book.

And that's the point. Children are getting excited over a BOOK. And what's wrong with that? Try reading one.

That should have said "Try reading a Harry Potter book".

Different folks, different strokes - it's a good thing we're not all the same.

I, for one, want to find out what happens next.

If I decide to buy a copy, I'll wait until Asda or Tesco run it at a discount - The books are resonable (in a one dimensional way)*, but no way will I bother to rush about after one.

* OK, I've read worse.

Have reserved one for me and one for my grandson. Can hardly wait until July 21! Just wish the grandson was closer so we could read it to each other the way we did the first couple.

It's only the covers that are different, Villan. There's no X rated scene in the Adult one or anything:-)

Although from what I hear about Ron, Hermione and the Viagra spell...
