08 Apr 07 - 04:32 AM (#2019651) Subject: RE: Martin Jarvis / Just William Radio 4 From: Big Al Whittle My favourite Martin Jarvis moment is in the Inspector Frost episode Fun Time for Swingers. Jarvis plays this out of work actor/gigolo. He has been beaten up. He goes off to meet a policewoman who is who is a set up - posing as a client. With a raise of his eyebrows Jarvis indicates and explains his bruised face, and says....'The slings and arrows of out-rageous fortune.....'. Whatever insoucianct means - Jarvis absolutely nails it. He does it so beautifully and with such humour, I couldn't help but wonder if it were in the script - or if it were a line he had contributed. |
