My other Pogo RipFlash Plus MP3 Player is v 2.38 & it won't recognize the v 1.13 unit. I wanted to have a backup unit for workshops. So I can't reformat the unit, since you need to use the manager for that. The only software on the pogo site is to update to the latest version for drivers, manager & firmware - which also does not recognize the v1.13 unit. I'm in catch 22 here. The unit works fine as a voice recorder - but I can't download or upload except as a realtime unit. And I've tried hooking up the two units to record from the older unit to the newer one, but while the old one keeps playing, the newer one only seems to record for a short time & then records dead air - weird. Anyone out there have the right manager version or a solution? |

If you search through the dated list of "snapshots" of the PoGo website, you MAY find one which has a live download of the software you need to install. You may not be lucky, but the Wayback Machine sometimes comes up with the goods. A lot depends on whether the links went directly to a "real" location which has been copied as part of the archive, or if they just run a script which takes you somewhere the Archive isn't able to access and store. Quack! GtD. |
