The judges were unable to determine the winner because the air was so full of smoke by 6 PM that they couldn't see who was ahead...and the pile of butts around the contestants was so high by that point that no one could get near them. In fact I think his last cd is one of the finest he has put out. His voice certainly suits him at his age. But, with that all being said I'm afraid I wouldn't spend $80 buckaroos to see him perform. For that price I can buy a hand tooled leather guitar strap and one of his cd's at the used cd store. Anyway, I've seen him live way back in 1965. |

It was way more than $80. Things are getting very expensive out there. When I went to see Dylan the first time, in 1974, I paid $12...and I was shocked. It was by far the highest price I'd ever paid at that point in my life to see a musician. I was accustomed to paying $6 to $8 at most concerts. |

The sheer heady sense of exclusivity that comes with sitting in a $1,000 seat is a thrill that only a few people in this world will ever be entitled to. |
