For want of anything better to do I, and a few like minded citizens, will be taking to the field behind Queen Elizabeth's Hunting lodge, Chingford, London (UK) for a pinic/ soiree/ tug o' war / space hopper racing, in honour of the first of May. All are welcome. If you wanna bring your instrument and have a noodle, please feel free. We won't be on pub premises (though there is a big one right next door) and unless we really upset someone, we should be able to pretty much please ourselves. Nearest station is Chingford rail (runs into Liverpool Street)about a 5 minute walk away. If you need any more info, PM me. Frivolities to start about 6.30pm - bring a tankard.... Then I watched a fox dither about between me and the gate... 6 ft away from me, a youngster with a mouth full of chicken takeaway. Well sorting out a few things with the others who run it with me, committee may be stretching things a bit! Not music related, but was amused when I asked the barmaid for a medium sherry.
