Ceilidh in Norfolk

Hello all,

I'm new in here and was recommended that you may be able to help me.

I'm looking to have a ceilidh at the end of July. It will be held in mid Norfolk (Dereham).
I will fully admit little knowledge of what bands are in the area, and for that matter which are worth hiring.

If anyone can provide a little guidance, I would be very Grateful.

Hi,

have a look at The Norfolk Folk Directory www.norfolkfolk.co.uk

You should find something there. I run the website. If you need further info you and always contact me on ryoung@ndirect.co.uk

Cheers

Here's a coule of ideas:
News of the Victory if you want big and electric.
Fendragon if your prefer bouncy and more traditional.

I should declare a personal interest in the second recommendation.

Also look in the next issue of Mardles magazine, at the printers now and due out on 1st May.
(or even in a copy of the last issue, it's the same list of bands and callers)

Hi Roger!
