I have checked the Paxton song book and not one of them has the words you remember. This book was issued in 1964 so is probably before the one you are searching for. Found a verse at Morpeth Festival, Now I read it in the papers and I heard it on the news, They were talking on the corners it was up and down the queues, They were talking revolution and they cheered the new regine, They were winking at the new Lord who was skimming off the cream, Chorus, and you'd better believe it etc...... next verse about a drunk on a bar stool, but we couldn't get any further (must have been the XXX !)
